Run over old turf in prime Beaufort Saturday country, the course will incorporate timber, walls, hedges and natural obstacles.
For 2023 we will be running two Intermediate classes (Speed followed by Bogey), both with fences of a fixed height of no more than 3’9” followed by a Novice class with fences of a fixed height of no more than 3’3”.
Entries will be via horse-events.
The event will be run over old turf with stunning views across prime Beaufort Saturday country by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Geoff Barker, Mr & Mrs Andrew Sells. Special thanks to Simon Best & Mike Pike.
The two courses will have a total of around 40 jumping efforts.

Course Walking: The course will be open to inspection from 4.00pm on Saturday 7th October– NO earlier please as the course will not be ready and may be subject to change before this time

There will be a simple refreshment, burger stall and tack stand on site
Dogs should be left at home. If essential they must be kept on a lead at ALL times – NO exceptions
Veterinary surgeons, Farrier and a Horse Ambulance will be on site during the competition. Competitors will be required to pay for any services received.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are competitors allowed to empty their horseboxes/trailers of muck/shavings/etc –if you are caught you team will be eliminated– it’s not our farm!

Fixed height fences will be no more than 3’9" and the course will be approx. two miles. Teams may be of three or four horses. The time of the third horse over the finish will be the time for the team. The team finishing with the fastest time wins. Horses must be 14.2hh or over and must be 5 years old or over. Riders must have attained their 16th birthday.
Special Prize: The Derek Sidebottom Cup will be presented to the highest placed Beaufort Hunt team

Horses must be 14.2hh or over and must be 5 years old or over. Riders must have attained their 14th birthday.
